SMI’s very own Robin Custard, Controller, was named 2017 Woman of the Year by the Carrollton, Georgia Women’s Business Alliance (WBA). This award was created to honor a strong role model who excels in her professional life and gives back to her community, as well as inspires and empowers others. Robin exemplifies these qualities. In addition to working at SMI for the past 12 years, Robin also teaches an accounting course at the nearby University of West Georgia. She is active in the Rotary Club of Carrollton Dawnbreakers and at her church, Southern Hills Christian Church. Robin does all of this and still finds the time to spend with her beloved husband, two sons, and three grandchildren.
